VS Code

I have floated back and forth between VS Code and Neovim for a while now and it's just depended on the work...

The main selling points of VS Code to me historically have been:

  1. one-stop shop with git integration, terminal emulation, keymaps (albeit a pain in the ass to get right), and a healthy extension marketplace
  2. relatively quick set-up (although ironically LazyVim gives you 90% of what you need instantly, VS Code takes some point and click at the beginning)
  3. easy devcontainer support
  4. GH Copilot support for work related activities
  5. a primary selling point is how well helm tends to work
  6. another primary point is the project manager plugin for combining repos together in a workspace

Well... I got sick of that and with the addition of worktrees in my workspaces workflow I think I can mostly get back to the terminal for most of my work

With all that said, VS Code isn't a bad tool and I have some configuration (perhaps outdated) in my vscode module
